Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower

The working principle of the cyclone tower is based on centrifugal separation and gas-liquid contact reaction. When dust-laden exhaust gas enters the tower, a strong rotating airflow (cyclone) is formed through tangential air intake. Under the action of centrifugal force, large particulate pollutants are thrown against the tower wall and fall into the dust collection hopper. At the same time, the spray system atomizes and sprays washing liquid, which comes into full contact with the exhaust gas, removing fine particulate matter and gaseous pollutants through physical collision and chemical reaction.

What Is a Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower?

Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower is a type of spray tower which is also known as a cyclone scrubber .It is also known as wet scrubber or gas scrubbing tower. This type of spray tower is an advanced air pollution control device designed to remove particulate matter with dust and harmful gases from industrial exhaust stream. This tower combines the principles of centrifugal force and liquid scrubbing to efficiently separate contaminants from the gas flow.

By integrating cyclone separation with spray tower technology the Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower delivers superior dust collection, gas absorption and cooling performance that’s making it one of the most energy efficient and reliable wet scrubber towers available for industrial applications.

What makes industries to choose Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower

Our Hebei OuTai Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower offers numerous advantages for industries aiming to meet strict environmental regulations and improve air quality.

Working Mechanism of Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower

The Cyclone Mixing Spray Tower operates through a multi-stage purification process:

  1. Tangential Gas Inlet: Polluted gas enters the tower tangentially,      creating a high-speed rotational flow.

  2. Cyclonic Separation: Centrifugal forces drive heavier dust and mist      particles toward the wall for initial separation.

  3. Mixing and Spraying: Spray nozzles atomize the scrubbing liquid into      microscopic droplets that mix and capture remaining fine particles and      soluble gases.

  4. Gas–Liquid Contact: Extended contact time ensures effective      absorption of sulfur oxides (SOx), hydrogen chloride (HCl), ammonia (NH₃),      and other contaminants.

  5. Demisting Section: A mist eliminator removes excess moisture before      clean air exits the tower.

  6. Liquid Recirculation: Collected slurry or water is recirculated after      filtration, ensuring sustainable operation.

Installation Method

  1. Foundation Preparation: Level platform and anchor bolts installation.

  2. Assembly: Mount tower sections sequentially and connect inlet/outlet ducts.

  3. Nozzle Adjustment: Align spray nozzles for even coverage.

  4. Pump & Piping Connection: Integrate circulation system and water tank.

  5. Testing: Conduct hydrostatic and airflow tests before commissioning.
