HEBEI OUTAI ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT CO., LTD.
At Senotay, protecting the environment is not a side note to our business — it is the reason our business exists. But our responsibility does not stop at our product line. It extends to every person we employ, every community we operate in, and every partner we work with.
OUR POSITION
There is an inherent accountability that comes with being a manufacturer of industrial dust removal and air purification equipment. Our customers trust us to help them reduce their environmental impact. That trust obliges us to hold ourselves to the same standard inside our own operations — and to extend that standard of responsibility outward into the communities and industries we serve.
Corporate social responsibility at Senotay is not a marketing statement. It is a set of practical, ongoing commitments that shape how we hire, how we manufacture, how we trade, and how we invest in the places we call home. We are guided by four core pillars, each representing a distinct area of accountability.
01 Economic Responsibility | 02 Legal Compliance & Integrity | 03 Ethical & Environmental | 04 Community Investment |
PILLAR 01 — ECONOMIC RESPONSIBILITY
A financially strong and responsibly managed business is the foundation upon which all other social responsibilities rest. Without sustainable growth, there are no jobs, no investment in communities, and no resources to pursue environmental leadership. We take our economic responsibilities seriously — not as a licence for profit-seeking, but as a duty to create lasting value for our employees, our partners, and the wider economy.
Our facility in Botou employs a diverse workforce of fabricators, engineers, quality inspectors, technicians, and commercial professionals. We are committed to providing stable, fairly compensated employment — including competitive salaries, safe working conditions, legally mandated benefits, and opportunities for skills development and career progression. We invest in our people because they are the engine of everything we deliver.
Where possible, we source raw materials — steel, filter media, electrical components, fasteners — from domestic suppliers, many of them based in the Cangzhou and wider Hebei region. This supports local manufacturing businesses, reduces logistics emissions, and keeps economic value circulating in the communities that host our operations.
We manage our business with a long-term perspective, reinvesting in production equipment, process improvement, and product development rather than optimising purely for short-term returns. This approach protects the interests of our employees, our customers, and our partners — all of whom depend on Senotay being a reliable, solvent, and capable business for years to come.
PILLAR 02 — LEGAL COMPLIANCE & BUSINESS INTEGRITY
We operate in markets where contracts, warranties, and technical specifications are the basis of trust between buyer and seller. That trust is only meaningful if it is backed by a genuine and unwavering commitment to legal compliance and ethical conduct. At Senotay, integrity is not aspirational language — it is a non-negotiable operating standard.
We comply strictly with all applicable laws and regulations governing our business, including environmental protection standards, product safety requirements, consumer rights legislation, labour laws, and import/export regulations. We maintain up-to-date documentation of our compliance status and cooperate fully and openly with regulatory and inspection bodies.
We honour every contractual commitment we make — delivery schedules, product specifications, warranty terms, and after-sales service obligations. When unforeseen circumstances arise, we communicate proactively, transparently, and promptly. Our customers should never have to chase us for information or worry that a promise will be quietly abandoned.
We price our products fairly and disclose all relevant information that a buyer needs to make an informed decision. We do not engage in misleading claims about product performance, and we do not make commitments we do not intend to keep. Our technical documentation, test records, and compliance certificates are available to customers and auditors on request.
We compete on the basis of product quality, service reliability, and technical competence — not through improper incentives, kickbacks, or anti-competitive practices. We expect the same standards from our suppliers and commercial partners, and we build these expectations into our procurement and partnership agreements.
PILLAR 03 — ETHICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
As a company whose entire purpose is to help industries reduce their environmental impact, we face a particular obligation: we must be credible environmental stewards ourselves. It would be a contradiction to manufacture clean-air equipment in a facility that pollutes, or to advocate for sustainable industry while operating with disregard for our own environmental footprint.
We actively manage and work to reduce the environmental impact of our own manufacturing operations. This includes responsible management of steel offcuts and process waste, proper handling and disposal of surface treatment chemicals, minimising energy consumption across our production floor, and operating our facility in full compliance with all local and national environmental regulations.
Every dust collector, electrostatic precipitator, and air purification system we manufacture and install at a customer's facility removes particulate matter and pollutants that would otherwise enter the atmosphere. Over the lifetime of our installed base — across power plants, cement works, metallurgy operations, and dozens of other industries — the aggregate environmental benefit of our equipment is substantial. This is our most direct and most meaningful contribution to environmental protection.
We actively advocate for "green enterprise" principles within our industry and among our customers. This means encouraging the adoption of higher-efficiency filtration technology, advising customers on upgrading ageing or underperforming systems, and designing our products for long service life to reduce the frequency of replacement and the associated material consumption.
We engineer our equipment to operate with low energy consumption relative to filtration performance, and we design for maintainability — so that systems can be serviced and upgraded without requiring full replacement. Longer-lived, more efficient equipment is better for our customers' operating costs and better for the environment.
PILLAR 04 — COMMUNITY INVESTMENT & PHILANTHROPY
Senotay is not an abstract entity. We are a business embedded in Botou, Cangzhou, and the wider Hebei community — a community of workers, families, schools, healthcare facilities, and public spaces. The success of our business creates an obligation, and an opportunity, to give back to the society that enables it.
We support educational initiatives in our local area, including contributions to vocational training programmes that help young people build the technical skills needed for careers in manufacturing and engineering. A stronger local skills base benefits our community, our industry, and the next generation of workers who will carry these trades forward.
We contribute to healthcare and social welfare initiatives where community resources are underfunded or stretched. Whether through direct financial support or by facilitating employee volunteer participation, we seek to improve the quality of life for people in the communities around our operations.
We support cultural, arts, and civic development initiatives that contribute to a vibrant and cohesive community. A thriving local environment — one where people are proud to live and work — is the best possible foundation for a long-term, sustainable business.
We contribute to urban improvement projects and local environmental initiatives, recognising that the quality of the physical environment in Botou and its surroundings directly affects the wellbeing of our employees and neighbours. Keeping our local environment clean and well-maintained is a responsibility we take seriously beyond the boundaries of our factory.

OUR ONGOING COMMITMENT
Corporate social responsibility is not a project with a completion date. It is a continuous commitment that requires ongoing effort, honest self-assessment, and a willingness to improve. We do not claim perfection. What we do claim is a genuine intention to operate as a force for good — in our industry, in our community, and in the world we share.
We welcome dialogue with customers, partners, employees, and community members about how we are meeting these responsibilities and where we can do better. Our goal is to be a company that people are genuinely proud to work for, buy from, and have as a neighbour.
"True corporate success is measured not only by the quality of the products we make, but by the quality of the impact we have on the people and environment around us."
