Notes for High Temperature Dust Collector Bags

The high-temperature dust collector bag is formed by padding, pre-baking, and baking treatments of needle-punched nylon with hydrophobizing agent and oleophobic agent. After the hydrophobizing agent and oleophobic agent are quickly dried, they are attached to the surface of the filter material fiber in a net shape, thereby reducing the surface tension of water and oil and the filter bag, so that the wet filter medium formed by water, oil and dust will not adhere to the surface of the filter bag, thus avoiding the bag sticking phenomenon.


During the operation of the bag filter, the high-temperature dust collector bags contain more moisture and oily, hygroscopic and deliquescent dust in the gas, and it may generate water or oil film on the surface of the dust to increase adhesion, which can help capture dust, but will make cleaning difficult. Especially when the high temperature gas is in a high humidity state, condensation will occur due to the cooling effect of the outside air. This can not only cause the collected dust to scale or even block the surface of the filter bag, but also corrode structural materials, increase the resistance of the dust collector, and directly affect the normal operation of the bag filter. Ordinary filter media must be further improved in function to be suitable for this special working condition, prevent or reduce the phenomenon of dust bagging, and improve the service life and work efficiency of the filter media.


The fabric and design of the high-temperature dust collector bags should strive for high-efficiency filtration, easy dust stripping and durability. The selection of the dust bag is very important, it directly affects the dust removal effect of the dust collector. Choose the dust bag from the following aspects: gas temperature, humidity and chemistry, particle size, dust concentration, filter wind speed, cleaning dust mode and other factors. In the pulse and air box pulse dust collector, the dust is attached to the outer surface of the filter bag. When the dust-containing gas passes through the dust collector, the dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bag, and the clean gas enters the filter bag through the filter material. The cage inside the filter bag is used to support the filter bag to prevent the filter bag from collapsing, and at the same time it helps to remove and redistribute the dust cake.
