How Does a Tubular Screw Conveyor Work?

A rotating helical screw blade (flight), welded onto a central shaft, conveys materials within a closed tubular casing. As the screw turns, materials are pushed forward by the rotating spiral—while friction between material and tube surface prevents spinning.

An end thrust bearing absorbs axial load, while intermediate hanger bearings ensure smooth motion in long screw shafts.
