Features of Nomex Filter Bag
Material: Nomex filter bag is made of Nomex fibre needle felt, which has good spinnability and abrasion resistance.
High temperature resistance: Nomex filter bag has excellent high temperature resistance, can work continuously at 180℃ and the instantaneous working temperature can reach 220℃. This makes it highly stable and reliable in high temperature environment.
Fire retardant performance: Nomex fibres start to decompose and carbonize only at 400℃, with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 30, which is neither spontaneous nor combustion-inducing, and has good fire retardant properties.
Chemical corrosion resistance: Nomex filter bag has good chemical corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance is not easy to corrode, suitable for a variety of corrosive environments.
Filtration performance: Nomex filter bag has smooth surface, the entanglement between the fibres is enhanced, which can cope with higher filtration wind speed, forming a high surface area coefficient, increasing the chance of dust capture. At the same time, its special cross-section pattern makes most of the dust is concentrated on the surface of the filter media, it is more difficult to penetrate into the filter media internal blockage of the gap, reducing the operating resistance and thus improve the filtration wind speed.
