What is an LDMC Bag Dust Collector?

An LDMC bag dust collector which is also known as an LDMC pulse jet bag filter or long bag low-pressure pulse dust collector that is a high-capacity industrial dust filtration system that uses long filter bags and compressed air pulses to clean accumulated dust. Compared to traditional dust collectors, the LDMC series provides:

  • Lower energy consumption.

  • Higher filtration efficiency.

  • Longer bag life.

  • Lower maintenance frequency.

  • Greater adaptability to large air-volume dust      collection.

It is specially designed to achieve stable emission standards then even in heavy-dust and continuous-duty operations.

Why LDMC Bag Dust Collector?

Industries choose the LDMC pulse jet bag filter because it delivers performance advantages that many conventional systems cannot match:

  • Low-pressure pulse cleaning reduces compressed-air consumption.

  • Long filter bags maximize filtration area without requiring larger equipment.

  • Modular design simplifies transportation, installation, and maintenance.

  • High efficiency (up to 99.9%) ensures cleaner working conditions.

  • Adaptability to a variety of dust types, including fine, sticky, and      high-temperature dust.

By optimizing airflow distribution and pulse cleaning, the LDMC series achieves longer service life, lower operating costs, and reliable performance for complex industrial applications.

How Does the LDMC Bag Dust Collector Work?

The LDMC system operates on a pulse jet cleaning principle, featuring an offline filtration mechanism that separates dust-laden air from clean air continuously:

  1. Dust-laden air enters the system and passes through the filter bags.

  2. Dust particles deposit on the outer surface of the filter media.

  3. Clean air exits through the inner side of the bags      and out the exhaust.

  4. The offline pulse jet system activates      high-pressure air bursts through solenoid valves (40–140 pcs depending on      the model), cleaning one filter section at a time.

  5. Dislodged dust falls into hoppers for easy removal or recycling.

This method allows continuous filtration without interrupting operations, maintaining consistent pressure and air quality.

Core Components of the LDMC System

  1. Filter Bags: Primary dust separation units, capturing fine particulates from      airflow.

  2. Filter Bag Cages: Structural supports keeping the bags upright and      free from collapse.

  3. Pulse Jet Cleaning System: Integrated solenoid valves release short bursts      of air to clean filters.

  4. Air Chamber Compartment: Facilitates steady airflow and balanced pressure      distribution.

  5. Dust Hopper: Collects dislodged particulates for removal or disposal.

  6. Control Panel & Sensors: Automate cleaning cycles based on pressure and      dust load.

Installation Method

The LDMC pulse jet bag filter can be installed both indoor or outdoor, based on application needs:

  1. Foundation preparation: Reinforced concrete base for stability.

  2. Hoisting modules: Using cranes to position chambers and hoppers.

  3. Connecting ducts: Align inlet/outlet ducts with main air systems.

  4. Electrical setup: Integrate the pulse control panel and solenoid      valves.

  5. Testing and commissioning: Verify pressure drops, pulse timing, and air      integrity before operation.
